18 & Over Book Blogger Follow – Whatcha Reading??

18 & Over Book Blogger Follow is a weekly feature that begins on Fridays and runs through the weekend, hosted by Crystal from Reading Between the Wines. This is a Friday blog hop with the objective to find and visit other book blogs that share the same interest as you, namely books geared towards the 18 & over crowd, and make some new friends!
How to join in:
-You should run a book blog that features and reviews mostly adult reads, some Y.A.’s are okay but 18 & over adult reads should be your majority.
-Make a separate post for the 18 & Over Book Blogger Follow on your blog.
-Copy the html for the button above and place it at the top of your post.
-List & answer the ‘Question of the Week.’
-Place your name and blog title in the linky below and the url for a direct link to your post
-Visit the other blogs on the list and say 'Hi!' Following each blog is not mandatory but I know it is always appreciated, and if someone comments saying they’re a new follower it’s polite to follow back. J It’s always nice to spread the 18 & Over Book Blogging love!
-Contact me (readingbetweenthewines10 at gmail dot com) with any questions!

Question Of The Week: What book are you currently in the middle of? Not 'just finished', I want to hear about what you're currently deep into and your thoughts on it right now. Loving it, not so much, or mixed feelings, maybe? Get it all out, sometimes how we feel about a book in the middle is totally different then how we feel at the end. It will be interesting to hear about it now and then go back to check out everyone's reviews later!

Soo right now I am reading:
Mistletoe Cowboy (Spikes & Spurs, #5)

And I’m pretty eh on it. I just read so many great books in the past week or so that this one is not living up. Granted I’m only about 20% of the way through if that even, but it’s not living up to The Siren, The Angel (Tiffany Reisz) , Provoked (Rebecca Zanetti) and Beyond Shame (Kit Rocha).  All these titles are all swirling around in my head and I havent quite let them go. So I’m thinking Mistletoe Cowboy will have to be put back up and read another time, once I’ve let these stories go. That will be difficult because they were all sooo good!

Can you tell I’m on a mission to get through all my NetGalley titles? LOL

  1. Ah no. Cowboys and Christmas sounds like a pretty good combo too! I'm having the exact opposite problem here. The last 3 or so I've read have been real duds. But I know that feeling well of having so many greats in a row. Pretty hard to live up to that.

Hope it's better the next time you pick it up :)

  2. I know! I've enjoyed this series so far but it's quite the come down from the other books, I think I'm stuck in the erotica genre right now. Every book I've picked up recently has been erotica and really good! I think I'm going to put it down and read Bared to You it's been calling my name! LOL

  4. It is hard to get into a new read once you have read something that really impressed you and blew your mind. I'm not much for Christmas themed books myself, but the cowboy angle certainly shows some promise. I'm hoping it picks up for you :)

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Ah, too bad this book isn't doing it for ya. I know what you mean though. When reading several really good books, it's easy for a so-so book to very pale in comparison!
